Paper bedding is soft and oh so absorbent, but it can get pricey if you have multiple animals.
Here's a tip: mix in some aspen bedding. Your mix will still have the softness and absorbency you and your animal love, but will also be more affordable!
You can play around with the proportions a bit, but we find 50/50 still provides a comfy litter mix that protects against urine scald, sore hock, and bumblefoot just as well as paper-only bedding.
What do the sizes below really mean? In our experience, the large bag will fill 12 extra large litter boxes with 3 inches of fluffed white bedding.
Dimensions: Measured by volume not by weight
41 L Aspen bedding 15 x 12 x 6, 41 L expands to 1.45 cu ft.
113 L Aspen Bedding 24 x 16 x 10, 113 L expands to 4 cu ft.
56L White/Brown (16L-compressed) - Large Size, 15 x 12 x 6 1000 CU In - Expands to 56L
178L White/Brown (52L-compressed)- XXL Size, 24 x 16 x 10 3173 Cubic Inches - Expands to 178L
Note: weight will always vary, actual size is determined by usable volume NOT by weight. The density of bedding may change; natural bedding is heavier than white bedding. However, even within the same type, the weight will differ.
